Accused in Anna Nicole Smith case to stand trial

Three people accused of conspiracy in the administration of drugs to the late model will reportedly stand trial.Los Angeles (WiredPRNews.com) – Three people who have been accused of conspiring to illegally provide late model Anna Nicole Smith with drugs have been ordered to stand trial. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), attorney Howard K. Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and psychiatrist Dr. Khristine Eroshevich will be tried on conspiracy charges for allegedly helping to supply Smith with opiates and sedatives.Ellyn Garofalo, an attorney for Kapoor is quoted by the AP as stating in defense of her client, “Criminalizing a doctor’s efforts to help a difficult patient is problematic… A doctor’s even poor judgment is not criminal.
