Today's Biggest NYSE Stock Losers were WH, ING, GFA : by Penny Stock Pick Alert

(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 25, 2009 ) Dallas, TX - WSP Holdings Limited (NYSE:WH) plunged 22.88% to close the day at $3.37 after the company today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. Loss from operations was $8.0 million, compared to income from operations of $48.2 million in the third quarter of 2008 and income from operations of $14.0 million in the second quarter of 2009. Net revenues were $90.2 million, down 68.0% from $282.4 million in the third quarter of 2008 and down 36.3% from $141.6 million in the second quarter of 2009.

ING Groep N.V. (ADR) (NYSE:ING) decreased 12.20% to $12.52 after TMB Bank TMB.BK, 30 percent owned by Dutch financial group ING, said on Tuesday it expected 2009 lending to shrink 10 percent, worse than its previous forecast. NG Groep N.V. is a global financial institution offering banking, investments, life insurance and retirement services. The Company serves more than 85 million private, corporate and institutional customers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Gafisa SA (ADR) (NYSE:GFA) fell 5.11% to close the day at $33.24. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $33.69 and $32.90 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 84%. Gafisa SA is a Brazil-based company engaged in homebuilding and real estate operations. Its core business is the development of residential buildings. It is also engaged in the development of land subdivisions, also known as residential communities, and entry-level housing.
