George Michael week on X Factor can mean only one thing - all the acts sing a George Michael song.

Right?

Well, no apparently not, and viewers are furious about it.

Fans of the ITV talent show took to Twitter in their droves last night to criticise the Scottish siblings for singing two songs by other artists despite the fact that the late singer has an extensive and impressive back catalogue of hits for the contestants to choose from.

Before they took to the stage, Simon said: "Singing not one of George Michael's songs but two of his greatest ever covers, The Cutkelvins."

The Cutkelvins performed a mash-up of Seal's Killer and Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations, later dedicating the performance to their late father.

But people couldn't understand how they got away with singing not one, but two songs that weren't George Michael's.

And it's happened again.

Grace Davies took to the stage tonight to sing Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me, a song that George once covered.

Simon Cowell told her she had a "real shot", while her mentor Sharon Osbourne praised her for overcoming a "very hard week" by picking herself up and carrying on to show off her talent.

But on Twitter, people were less than impressed.

One said: "Grace up next rewriting a George song"

"This isn’t even a George Michael song," said another.

And one commented: "oh Grace is not doing a George Michael song"

She had a lot of support too, with one fan tweeting: "Go on gracie!!!"

"Absolutely Love this song," another said.

However, a number of viewers also slammed Grace for talking about her heartbreak over her ex-boyfriend.

One said: "Oh dear f**king god. Any excuse for Grace to mention that poor ex boyfriend! Kinda getting why he dumped her now"

While another said: "every week grace has got a story of some heart break how many boyfriends she had"

And another asked: "Is Grace the only female to ever get dumped by a guy ever?!"
