SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Absentee voting for the South Dakota primary began on Friday.

To request an absentee ballot, voters must submit an absentee ballot application form to their county auditor.

Absentee ballot applications may be requested from the county auditor or found on the secretary of state’s website.

Voters can also absentee vote in person up to the day before the election, or vote in person on election day, which is June 4th.
