An internet pervert who posed as a Justin Bieber lookalike won’t be deported for up to 15 YEARS.

Yohann Ramchelawon, 30, targeted victims aged between 12 and 17 in New Zealand, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and Russia, as well as closer to home in Walsall and Coventry and other parts of the UK.

But Stafford Crown Court heard he would not be deported back to his native Mauritius until the end of his 15-year sentence.

Ramchelawon hid behind a picture of a teenager who looked like Bieber to groom his victims, who were aged 12 to 17, on fake social media accounts.

He persuaded them to send indecent images and perform webcam sex acts.

And he blackmailed them when they refused or lost interest by threatening to send the pictures to their friends, schools and families.

West Midlands Police officers who examined Ramchelawon’s mobile phone found more than 700 indecent images of young girls, including 27 of the most serious category.

He had 23 previous convictions for 46 offences – none for sexual matters – and had used 12 fake names.

Sharon Bahir, prosecuting, said Ramchelawon came to the UK aged 11 on a settlement visa to join his family.

West Midlands Police launched an investigation after an IP address used to message a 12-year-old Manchester girl was traced to a house in Walsall.

Detectives tracked him down to an address in Victoria Lane, Huddersfield, where he was arrested in March last year.

Officers found victims from Coventry, Scotland, Liverpool, St Ives, Shoreham-by-sea and East Ham.

But others came from as far afield as New Zealand, Brazil, United Arab Emirates and Russia.

Ramchelawon − who gave his home address as Walls Street, Halifax, when arrested − was convicted of two counts of inciting a 12-year-old girl to engage in sex acts online, eight charges of possessing indecent images of children, and two of distributing the images.

He was also convicted of penetration and sexual assault against a six-year-old Coventry girl last October.

Passing sentence, Judge John Wait, told Ramchelawon: “You have a perverted attraction to very young girls.

“You present a significant risk of causing serious harm by the commission of further offences.”
