Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2018. / Kabar /. The largest technoparks will be open in three universities of Kyrgyzstan, Dinara Moldosheva, the Chairperson of the State Service for Intellectual Property and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic told at the press conference at Kabar Agency.
She said that technoparks are being opened as a result of cooperation of the department with educational institutions in order to promote innovative technologies. Among these universities are Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture and Kyrgyz State University named after Razakov in Bishkek, as well as Osh Technological University.
"We chose three universities through competitive selection. The main goal of the work of technoparks is the promotion of technological novelties. This is often done by academic teachers, but because of the lack of funds, all of their ideas remain on paper. The work of technology parks is aimed at the embodiment of their ideas with further commercialization," stressed the head of the department.
She added that the world practice has shown that the opening of technoparks on the basis of universities helps them to withdraw from the state subsidy, and to find additional means for further development.
