Bahrain iGA wins ISO certification for quality

Bahrain's Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) said it has been granted the ISO Certificate 9001:2015 for Quality Management by Bureau Veritas for the implementation of all rules and required standards of the certificate in addition to surpassing independent evaluation stages, auditing processes and strict tests conducted by the company in line with international quality standards throughout the past year.

The ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management comprise a set of standards by the International Organization for Standardization which recognizes the conformity of quality management systems in entities granted the international standards.

It also establishes an efficient framework for processes, policies, procedures, records control and improving service quality within an organized framework that achieves customer satisfaction and meets their needs along with current legislation and legal requirements by applying the quality management system.

On the key achievement, iGA Chief Executive Mohamed Ali AlQaed said the re-attainment of the ISO Certificate reflects Authority’s vision and keenness to raise its services delivered to individuals and the society by improving its quality in various sectors in terms of technical, security and services including its eServices, statistics, radiocommunication and identity card services.

Either online that is available 24/7 or services provided by the branches, said the top official.

AlQaed thanked all directorates, departments, employees and Quality Team members for their exerted dedicated efforts and continuous work in order to prepare, follow-up and audit the followed mechanisms in the internal implementation of quality standards in all iGA departments.-TradeArabia News Service
