A Writer's Journey Showcased in Short Tales

CHARLOTTE, NC, UNITED STATES, November 20, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Author David Pliner's writing is screaming with honesty and sincerity in his new book, "Short, Short Tales".

He writes about life's complexities and never fails to touch his reader's heart with its honesty. He managed to collect his personal experience and emotions and turn it into scourge of relatable literary piece with fascinating characters, and flaws that make each story sympathetic.

"Short, Short Tales", is a book with many themes, including corruption to pollution, greed, loneliness, discrimination, futility, and sex to name a few. The stories in the book are his connection to readers and never fails to engage its readers in every story.

His life's drama became his reader's reassuring guide to life's uncertainties yet the stories provide encouragement and a guiding tool for his readers.

Pliner writes with keen intelligence, deep understanding, scathing humor, and fierce emotions. It is definitely a good read for those who seek the true value of a book. David's book is both profane and lyrical.

About the Author:
David Pliner is seventy-seven years old and has embarked upon a new career, and this is his first book. Writing has been a lifelong ambition, but this is the first opportunity he had to write as he has retired to become a full-time caregiver.

He studied American and British literature and poetry in college. He is currently working on his first novel, which should be published in the fall of 2016. Many of the characters in Hogan’s Choice will appear in this novel in more depth.

Writing is difficult, and he hopes you enjoy the stories as much as he enjoyed writing them. He's particularly influenced by John Mortimer, Hemingway's Nick Adams stories, T. S. Eliot, Percy Shelly and James T. Farrell.
