Arsenal fans have gone into meltdown at the prospect of signing Thomas Lemar after the Frenchman appeared to drop a transfer hint on social media.
The Gunners were linked with a move for the Monaco midfielder over the summer, but just missed out on completing the signing.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are both expected to leave north London when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
And Arsene Wenger will be expected to step up and land the France international to help the Gunners rebuild their midfield.
Arsenal supporters have been keeping track of the Monaco star's social media activity in recent weeks, as the January transfer window looms ever closer.
And have come across what many believe to be hard evidence that he wants the Emirates to be his next destination.
While on Instagram the Frenchman came across an image of himself posted alongside the caption: "Welcome to Arsenal".
Lemar decided to give the comment a 'like', sparking a frenzy among some fans who are now convinced he is going to join.
Taking to Twitter one supporter wrote: "Thomas Lemar just liked a comment on his Instagram post saying 'Welcome to Arsenal' after numerous comments saying 'come to Chelsea' make of that what you will.
While another added: "I cannot breathe," and a third concluded: "It's happening".
