Channel 4 axes its newest reality show with a twist after just one series on air

CHANNEL 4 has axed its newest reality show after just one series on air, despite a star-studded lineup.
The broadcaster has culled The Underdog: Josh Must Win from schedules after its debut last year.
Airing on digital channel E4, the show saw the famous faces rig a reality show so that Josh won no matter what.
The unsuspecting star of the show battled it alongside other civilians to become the favourite in a popularity contest.
However, they were unaware that next door was a group of celebrities making sure Josh won, no matter what.
A TV insider told The Sun: "Channel 4 are known for creating space for new shows to make their mark on screens.
"Unfortunately the show didn't leave a lasting impressions on viewers though.
"It's been decided not to bring the format back for a second series."
A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "We were very proud of the show, but this year we have a series of new reality shows coming to E4."
The star-studded lineup include Pete Wicks, Vicky Pattison, Nick Grimshaw and Amber Rose Gill.
Radio star Nick, 40, won't be stuck for presenting jobs after landing a new gig with Channel 4.
He was recently announced as the new host of its rebranded animal programme The Bag Dog Academy.
Meanwhile, Josh Must Win viewers were left double-taking after comparing the 23-year-old to a famous soap star.
Fans flooded social media convinced the rising star bore a striking resemblance to Coronation Street's Alex Bain.
