Moment Donald Trump's pal tells Sky News reporter 'go back to your own country!'

The same Republican representative also once told journalist Emily Maitlis to "f*** off" after being asked about the conspiracy theories she believes in.

Marjorie Taylor Greene slams Sky News reporter over question

A right-wing US politician known for being a conspiracy theorist and staunch supporter of Donald Trump told a British reporter to "go back to your own country" in a furious rant. Marjorie Taylor Greene, part of the MAGA crowd, was asked about the defence plans that were accidentally leaked to a journalist in a group chat by Sky News' Martha Kelner. The Republican representative from Georgia erupted at the line of questioning, telling the journalist to worry instead about "people from your country".

She said: "We don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country? You should care about your own borders. Let me tell you something, do you care about people from your country? What about all the women that are raped by migrants… do you care?"

Ms Kelner was referring to a group chat on encrypted messaging service signal, which included members such as national security adviser Mike Waltz, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Vice President JD Vance.

The news, nicknamed "Signal-gate", was broken by Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, who was sent a request to join the "Houthi PC small group" chat.

The group discussed the timing of and weapons used in a planned attack on the Houthis in Yemen, though the Trump administration maintains the information shared was not classified.

This is also not the first time Ms Taylor Greene has lost her temper at a British journalist. In March last year, she told News Agents host Emily Maitlis to "f*** off" after she was questioned on the conspiracy theories she believes.

She raged: "You're a conspiracy theorist, the left and the media spreads more conspiracies. We like the truth, we like supporting out Constitution, our freedoms and America First. Why don't you go talk about space lasers nad really, why don't you f*** off?

In February 2024, the Republican told David Cameron to "kiss my a**" over his comments on a Ukraine aid deal.

She previously held positions in the House education and budget committees, but was removed from them following controversial social media posts.

Ms Taylor Greene is now chair of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee, and has called for taxpayers to stop funding public radio and broadcasting services.

She argued that they have become "radical, Left-wing echo chambers for a narrow audience of mostly wealthy, white, urban liberals and progressives, who generally look down on and judge rural America".
