EA Sports’ F1 25 to launch in May: What we know so far
F1 25 is set to launch during Formula 1's 75th anniversary year and will arrive at a time when Lewis Hamilton’s transfer from Mercedes to Ferrari is receiving considerable attention, a detail highlighted in the game's Iconic Edition.
EA Sports will release F1 25 in two editions. The Standard Edition includes an F1 75 Celebration Pack, an F1 World Starter Pack, and 5,000 PitCoin for pre-order customers, with Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz, and Oliver Bearman featured on the cover.
The Iconic Edition focuses on Hamilton’s move to Ferrari and features the British driver alone on the cover. This edition includes exclusive Hamilton-related content and introduces chapters based on the upcoming F1 movie with APXGP.
Hamilton, who has won 105 Grand Prix, had not been previously featured on the cover of an F1 video game. The game will also include updated graphics, AI mechanics, and new gameplay features.
