The first episode of season three of Beyond Paradise is set to air on BBC One on March 28. The instalment will see DI Humphrey Goodman, portrayed by Kris Marshall, and DS Esther Williams, played by Zahra Ahmadi, collaborating with their counterparts in Cornwall.

A body discovered in a river on the border between Devon and Cornwall sparks a rivalry, with the Cornish team quick to dismiss the death as an unfortunate accident. However, Humphrey suspects there's more to the story.

Meanwhile, Martha Lloyd, played by Sally Bretton, is looking to grow her business, Ten Mile Kitchen, following its success. Just when things seem to be going smoothly, an unexpected twist throws Martha and Humphrey off course.

Regular cast members including Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford and Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins will be returning. Barbara Flynn reprises her role as Martha's mother Anne, and Melina Sinadinou returns as Esther's daughter Zoe.
