Newly filed court documents reveal a mom is suing Lauderdale County school leaders after she says a man checked her daughter out of school for sex.
She filed that lawsuit against Central High School on Monday.
Documents state she blames the school for not following the proper check-out procedure and for what happened to her daughter.
Justin Stephens, a man from Kentucky, was previously arrested for the September incident on several charges, including rape and sodomy.
He was booked into the Lauderdale County jail without bond.
