VEHARI - Three persons of a family died on Saturday when a speeding truck bumped into a motorcycle on the Mailsi Siphon Road near Borrana village. All the three victims riding on the motorcycle died on the spot, rescue workers said. According to rescuers, the accident occurred in the jurisdiction of Karampur police station. The victims were identified by police as Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Hassan Shah village, his 22-year-old daughter Mahwish Bibi, and 8-year-old niece Aneesa. Rescue 1122 teams and Karampur police reached the spot promptly and shifted the bodies to the Rural Health Center Hospital in Karampur. The police impounded the truck and initiated further legal proceedings. The tragic incident has left the local community in deep shock and mourning. Further investigation was underway.
One dies, 6 injured as bus overturns in DG Khan
One passenger was killed while six others including five women sustained injuries as a bus overturned near South Punjab’s hill station, Fort Monroe,while on way towards Multan late on Friday night. According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, a passenger bus was traveling towards Multan when it overturned near South Punjab’s hill station, Fort Monroe.
As a result,Abdullah Shah(35) died on the spot while Jaweria (28),Bilal (23),Kulsoom (45),Samina(40),Rimsha(20) and Nashila (50) sustained multiple injuries.
Police concerned and Rescue 1122 reached on the spot,shifted the body and injured to THQ hospital Khar for medical treatment.
