The election will be held June 3, 2025.
With one open seat and two candidates filing petitions, the Stanley County School Board will also hold an election June 3. Those candidates are incumbent Tyler Green and Ty Norman.
No election is needed for the Pierre School Board, as incumbents Joan Adam and Jessica Lewis were the only people to turn in petitions. They will each serve another three-year term. The Hughes and Stanley County Commissions don’t need to hold an election in 2025.
