Plenty of early voting options ahead of April 28 federal election

With the federal election just weeks away, Elections Canada is encouraging voters to take advantage of the many ways to cast a ballot early.

Advanced polling stations, local Elections Canada offices, and mail-in voting are all available to help make the process more accessible—especially for those who might not be in their home riding or available on election day.

Regional Media Advisor with Elections Canada, Dugald Maudsley, says if you’re ready to vote now, you can.

Maudsley notes that advanced polls will also be open over the Easter long weekend.

It’s important to remember that your advanced polling location may differ from where you vote on election day.

If you plan to vote by mail, Maudsley advises starting the process as early as possible to avoid any delays.
