Peterborough will have an Independent candidate running to represent it on Parliament Hill.

Chad Jewell is now in the mix, having recently filed his papers. He says a long interest in politics anchored his decision to take the plunge.

Jewell says this federal election campaign has become ‘so polarized,’ accentuating the need for an Ottawa representative who puts Peterborough first.

Jewell outlines why Peterborough voters should consider him for their vote.

The owner of Jewell Auto Glass since 1992, Jewell says seeking election is ‘a worthwhile venture,’ noting he wants to be part of the solution.
