With so much to play for this season, it's hard to look too far ahead when it comes to Newcastle United, but there is plenty on the horizon for the Magpies. The summer transfer window promises to be an exciting one, while they have already announced their first pre-season friendly.
United will face Arsenal in Singapore in July in a game that could be one of the first to feature their new 2025-26 kit. Manufacturers adidas are getting ready to launch next season's strips after taking over a supplier for the start of this campaign. There was much excitement about the reveal last year, and with a brand new club shop, this summer's unveiling is set to be just as big.
Adidas will again provide three kits for Newcastle for the 2025-26 season - home, away and third, along with goalkeeper kits, pre-match clothing and an array of training gear. But as always, there has been plenty of speculation on social media over what the new kit could look like.
While there have been some designs of the traditional black-and-white kit on social media, fans can really let their imaginations run for the away and third kits. So while we await the official release - likely to be sometime in June - here's what you might be able to expect.
2025-26 home kit
There have been plenty of sightings of the potential new home kit on social media, with mixed reviews. Of course there is no confirmation whether any of the pictures circulating are legitimate, but it seems to have gained plenty of traction.
The controversy surrounds the fact it is a predominantly white shirt, with three black stripes. These are made up of small squares which have a colour changing effect, which will appear as though they are shifting from black to white. The same design also appears on the sleeves. Shorts and socks have not yet been seen.
2025-26 third kit
There has been precious little on the away kit so far, but rumours have circulated over the potential third kit. This could take the form of a remake of the 1997-98 away kit, pictured below. That featured a dark blue strip with a distinctive orange and green band down one side.
