Katherine Bordeaux of Bordeaux Lighting to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

ERIE, COLORADO, UNITED STATES, June 20, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- When we think of LED lighting most of us barely put in any thought about how important the quality of light really is to our environment. Are we aware that LED lights actually have many benefits that are critical to keeping our world wholesome and sustainable? As a business owner or investor, if you could get a 50-100% return on your investment, you would do it immediately, right? All over the country, business owners and facility mangers are doing just that, cutting their electrical and lighting bills in half by changing the old lighting technologies to LED.

Katherine Bordeaux is a highly regarded and successful entrepreneur as well as the founder and CEO of Bordeaux Lighting LLC. Her part in the LED industry starts well after the job is sold and the materials have been manufactured and shipped.

“We upgrade fluorescent and other lights to LED for retail stores, warehouses, and parking lots,” says Kathy. “I’m delighted to be making a difference in my industry by making the planet healthier because LED is cleaner, more cost effective, and more sustainable for the environment than fluorescent lighting which contains mercury that can be toxic. LED is a positive wonderful way for all of us to go green.”

Bordeaux Lighting’s technicians work all over the United States, working mostly at nights, to do the actual work of changing a light fixture to the newest LED technology.

As a female owned and operated business Kathy wears many hats managing her crews of 50 plus employees of top skilled technicians. She is WBENC and WOSB certified. She is a proud member of the International Association of Lighting Management (NALMCO) and she and her workers are CALT, certified lighting technicians, so they are knowledgeable and thoroughly trained in their field.

“I really love this business and don’t mind putting in 12 to 15-hour days because I’m thoroughly dedicated,” says Kathy “I have exceptional crews and wonderful customers. We work cohesively to keep everything running like clock- work. To achieve success, communication is critical and key between myself and my crews, that’s why I’m accessible to them 24/7 to make certain everything runs smoothly.”

Kathy’s goal is to continue doing the LED retrofit and by 2019 transitioning from a labor company to a full-service company. She’s also excited about upcoming technology with LED which utilizes Bluetooth & WIFI and she anticipates amazing technology for the future.

“When I become a full- service company I also intend to use companies whose production takes place in the United States rather than China,” says Kathy. “I think it’s vital that we encourage labor here where we can exemplify our work ethic and capacity and overall solidarity.”

“We provide expert lighting services all over the United States and we do it efficiently,” says Kathy. “As a successful female owned business in a male dominated industry I hold my own because I meet challenges with determination and assertiveness. As long as you follow your passion and dreams you can accomplish anything and that’s what I’m doing.”
